Ray Beaird is a lifelong North Carolinian and the proud President and Owner of Carolina Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency serving Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Raleigh, and surrounding communities.
Born in 1980 in Cary, NC, Ray grew up in Fuquay-Varina, where he developed a strong connection to the local area and its people. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance. This specialized education provided a solid foundation for his career in the insurance industry.
Ray launched his professional journey with a local agency in Fuquay-Varina before taking the entrepreneurial step in April 2011, when he purchased his book of business and founded Carolina Insurance Group. Since then, he has grown the agency into a trusted resource for auto, home, life, business, and personal insurance, known for personalized service, competitive rates, and deep community knowledge.
A dedicated family man, Ray is married to his wife, Christal, who provides administrative support at the agency. Together, they are raising two wonderful children: daughter Brooklynn (born 2010) and son Liam (born 2014). When he’s not helping clients protect what matters most, Ray is an avid golfer and passionate sports enthusiast who loves following and playing all things sports.
